Moving from v1
eUSD launched in September 2026 with one collateral, eSPY, and SPY-paying staking with a $MONEY boost. Both are winding down in favour of the four risk groups and the fixed-APR vaults. eUSD itself does not change: v1 and v2 mint the same token.
What still works on v1
| v1 contract | Status |
|---|---|
| eSPY EUSDManager | Minting is paused. Repay, close, withdraw, redeem and liquidate keep working |
| OwnStakingV2 (eUSD staking with SPY rewards) | Last reward period ends Friday 6 November 2026, 07:07 UTC. Unstake and claim keep working after it ends |
| sEUSD (the original staking vault) | Withdraw only |
Moving a mint position
- Close on v1. On Mint v1, repay or close your eSPY position. You need the eUSD you minted; the accrued fee is paid from your collateral.
- Convert eSPY to SPY. Swap the returned eSPY for Robinhood's SPY token 1:1 by value through the PSM, with no fee.
- Open on v2. Deposit SPY on Mint and mint again. SPY is in the ETFs group, with the same 150% minimum ratio as v1.
The app's Move your position to v2 card on Mint v1 runs these three steps for you and checks that v2 can re-mint before it closes anything.
Moving a stake
- Unstake everything on Stake v1. This returns your eUSD and $MONEY and pays out the SPY you earned.
- If you also have a v1 mint position, move it first (above), since closing it needs your eUSD.
- Stake again in the eUSD and $MONEY vaults for a fixed APR.
